1994 jaguar xjs 4.0 Idling then losses power, help
Hey guys got my first jaguar xjs . I’ve owned 2 Vander plas previously. I bought a 1994 jaguar xjs 4.0 it had been mostly garaged for 5 years
I drove it for about 30 miles. I came to a stop , cranked the car back up about 10 minutes after but it was stalling as if gas wasn’t pushing through or there was a slight misfire mufflersh sound. I have to keep kicking the gas peddle for it to stay. It I’ll remain on and then shut off again.
ive changed:
gas filter
gas pump
cleaned MAF sensor
and Throttle body
i plan on buying a new MAF sensor and idle valve hoping this sorts things out.
any advice or leads help, I’m happy to send videos or photos . Cars a beauty otherwise.
