I joined the forum back in Sept. 2014, but because I have limited knowledge in the use of a computer I was not sure how to introduce myself,but I will try. My name is Ken and I live in Milford, Pennsylvania, the eastern part of the state on the New York, New Jersey border. I have always admired the jaguar cars and thought someday I might get an XJ 6, But a women I knew owned this beautiful 1996 XJS in jade green, although it had 130,000 miles on it,it looked stunning. There is no rust on the car, it runs good, all original. The women was getting on in years so she and her family decided to sell it. So I made a deal with them and bought the car for $5,000. I could not believe I bought such a great car for that amount of money. I have done some work on it and the forum has been a great help. I have been able to do the repairs myself so far, but who knows what's next. Thanks Ken.
