Hi all. I recently acquired a 1997 XK8 Convertible with just over 96,000 miles on it. I have been perusing this forum ever since. Thanks for all the useful information I found here because the first thing I had to do was fix oil and coolant leaks. Good to hear you've already found useful information here. There will be no need for a link to the XK8/XKR section!

Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

My first Jag too. I had convertibles from 1990 until a month ago (1970 Beetle, 1996 del Sol and 2009 MINI. But I love my "new" 2006 S Type. I'll miss the drop top, but I'm a sucker for the look and feel of this car.
