2002 Jaguar xk8 code p1517
We have it come in with over heating issue replaced multi heater hose water pump thermostat housing a degas cap. Came up with codes for p1647 heated oxyen sensor control module bank 2 open shorted p1517 park/neutral starting malfunction. Body control module codes of u1041 scp vehicle speed signal, u2012 ABS can bus error, B1595 ignition switch illegal input code. Cranks no start

P1517 possible causes are:
1. Gear selector cable setting incorrect
2. Transmission rotary switch to ECM circuit - open circuit or high resistance
3. Rotary switch failure
