2003 S type jag 4.2L
I have 2003 S type jag 4.2L it has an overheating problem what is the first thing to check. When I bought it I started it drove for about 15mins and let engine run for about 30mins with AC on high no overheating but as soon as I got about 10 miles it started to over heat and the dash said a temp reading was to high I have not touched anything yet I just got it towed home and I want to know what to check first. The owner thinks he seen a crack in the radiator but he's not very knowledgeable about cars and said the coolant tank had a crack. In addition the car has sat for a year with no start. Please help bought car for wife and love to drive this car in full action.
