Default '97 x300/XJ6 with 175,000 mi!

Pick this beautiful, one owner, well maintained vehicle up in Dallas Texas for around $2,500 cash. Got the Carfax report on it and everything looks pretty legit. Apparently it's been very well maintained and I'm hoping to get another $50,200,000 miles out of it. I'm no stranger to wrenching on vehicles and hopefully I'll be able to do most of the work that will be required. That stated it doesn't appear that there is much to be done at the moment. I have refreshed all fluids and had the front end aligned which included some new tie rods. Wish me luck!

Obviously a few typos in this post. Can't find a way to edit it so I'll just clarify that I'm trying to get another 50, 000 to 100,000 miles out of it. The rest makes enough sense that you can probably figure it out.

Hello,
Congratulations on your new Jaguar!
With proper care and maintenance you might well get 50 million miles out of it.
Welcome to the forums form ElinorB.

Welcome and congrats! Take your time and work through the "do this to your car" list (I am about halfway through mine) and when complete, like others have said, expect another 100k miles or so. Beautiful car - so many of the exterior and interior details seem to need very little work, so you can enjoy that crossed off your list as you work through the mechanicals.

That had me laughing. They say these engines can go for a long time! Love the Jade Green. Welcome aboard, my friend.

Welcome aboard. Being in The Colony, you should check out the local Jaguar club. They seem to have a lot of members in the North Dallas - Plano - Frisco area and activities seem to center around there. A bunch of good folks. I'm more actively showing my classic Corvette, but a couple of my friends have Jaguars too and so I've been to a handful of their events.

Be sure to reserve the date June 5th for the Concours De'Elegance but don't let that term intimidate you. There will be a few "antique" Jaguars there, but its really just a parking lot car show, just with Jaguars instead of domestic muscle cars. I sometimes make it an excuse to detail my daily driver plus its more convenient and safer to park in the show field than out in the public lot with the spectators.
