Hi,

jeffmakes here from the UK. XJ-S HE 3.6 manual, 1987. Always wanted one of these.

I'm an electronic engineer with a good degree of mechanical skill too (particularly machining and metalwork) and I want to learn how cars work and how to debug and maintain them. I reckon owning a classic should help (and hinder &#128514 me in this endeavour.

Please treat me as a total n00b and explain things in as much detail as you can endure.

Beautiful car. Until the early 1990's we only had the V12 on this side of the pond. If you have not heard of / or downloaded "the book" from Kirby Palm about the XJS you NEED it. Absolutely the best resource reference for the XJS, saved me thousands.
