Welcome to the Forums.

The S Type Tech Section will have suggestions/answers, BUT, the year of the car ,engine type and size will be needed to sort it.

Good luck.

Welcome to the forum Andrew,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

I can see you have posted about this problem in the S-Type forum (
https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/s...-start-215366/ ). The 'HOW TO' thread at the top of the S-Type forum is a good place to start for information on regular issues.

I have added vehicle details to your forum Signature to help others to give relevant advice. If you wish to amend this, go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the UK & Eire Region forum by following this link
https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/uk-eire-68/ to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham

From one S-type owner to another... Welcome. The S-type forum is populated with a very friendly group and contains a wealth of knowledge. That said, you need to work with us a bit. What is the year and model of your S-type and what is your location? Also, please also break your post down into sentences as your "ee cummings - stream of consciousness" style of writing posts will cause readers some frustration; this will then limit the number of responses to your inquiry.
