Another new member….
It’s only taken 60 years since I first saw a pic of and XKE to finally buy my first, and hopefully not last, Jaguar. Only Maserati has piqued my interest as much as Jaguar and that’s mainly bc of Fangio and Moss racing the Maserati 250F in 1950s era Formula 1. They made great sports cars, too.
The C types were incredible looking and what man or boy didn’t want to own an E type? Being able to own an F is a great consolation prize!
My triple back 2015 F S convertible, optioned to the max by the original buyer, is something I consider to be a work of art. It’s perfection every way you look at it.
I use my vehicles to drive in the countryside in Alberta outside my home in Calgary, especially, but all through the W part of North America. My wife and I love 4-5 day road trips, and longer, just marvelling at the beauty of the back roads and scenic routes. The Pacific North West has so many great drives. I bought my car last Monday in Vancouver and did a classic 2 day road trip through the Rockies to Calgary. Exquisite motoring, indeed.
this forum is outstanding and thanking all of you who have gone before and shared your stories and knowledge.
