Another Newbie!
Greetings from central Illinois – Quincy specifically.
As a kid, I fell in love with the styling of the E-type and vowed I would own one some day. Well, I’m not quite there, but the 2005 XK convertible comes close.
I’ve been looking at the XK’s for several years and it was this spring when I commented about getting a lawn service for our yard that my wife said to me – “you say that every year just like you say you’re going to buy that Jaguar convertible….”.
One week later, I had a lawn service. Two weeks later, I bought the car.
Love the car and am looking to take on some of the simple things that can be done by a do-it-yourselfer.
I look forward to sharing stories and experiences. Glad to be a part of the forum!

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
