battery replacement
hello new to forum (any car forum ) owner of 09 xf sc ,, car would not open with key fob , replaced car battery, tried to store memory (failed ) .now with new battery doors open with key fob , but wont start , wont even engage ,, any suggestions would be great .
hi have you any warranty or a member aa or rac ect if so get some one out to look at it. if youve dissconected the battery altogether . it might be that you will have to get the key or keys fob re programed. if your member of aa ect call them out see if they can start it. i replaced the battery in mine but used jump leads so that the connection wast lost. hope this has been helpfull atb charlie
yes im a CAA member , mechnic lent me hes machine to plugin and store memory , i didnt hook it up right ( was alittle stressed ) and when i disconnected old battery to replace with new , lost car info ,, i read on here that the car is in security mode ,getting towed on mon to jaguar mechnic , non dealer,, thanks for response

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
