Greetings to all Jaguar enthusiasts everywhere,
I have been a follower of this site for a very long time and have been able to keep the may Jaguars I have owned over the years in top shape from the advice I have received over the years but I never seemed to have anything to add that had not already been posted so I never signed up but a recent incident made me make a change so here I am. My love with Jaguar cars began when I started working as a used vehicle salesman at the local BMW/VW/LandRover dealership here in Akron, OH and I began using various makes and models of different brands and I started driving the Jaguars that were traded in or purchased at auction and I fell in love, that was back in the mid 1980s, I worked there for over 20 years and eventually became the Used Car Manager and I always had Jaguars on MY lot! I also had a previous life as an automotive technician and I spent a lot of my time at the dealership in the service department wrenching as well and I was actually a sales person who got along better with the service department personell than the sales force, a rarity at any dealership! I have also owned several Jaguars but as I have progressed in age, my car needs lessened and I am down to just one Jaguar now which is a 2005 X-Type Estate Wagon with only 77,000 miles on it and a vintage Ford F150 with 81,000 miles as my daily drivers. I recently purchased a second gorgeous Estate Wagon with only 72,000 miles on it from Florida, had it shipped up and it was everything I expected and more, it was so well cared for and so very well maintained it looked practically new and the previous owner had put on 19" Coventry wheels and it was stunning!
I put it away until all of the salt was off of our Ohio roads and I was on my way to get the out of state inspection that Ohio requires whenever a car is purchased out of state and a woman in Mazda SUV crashed a light and hit me in the right front and did extensive suspension damage, ruined the Coventry wheel and did body damage to that side and the insurance company totaled my beautiful radiant red X-Type wagon, which brings me here. I could not stand to the this gorgeous car lost forever so I purchased it from the insurance company to part it out and use the parts for my other X-Type Estate Wagon and sell to those of us who appreciated the X-Type Estate wagon everywhere who may need nice clean low mileage parts for their Estate Wagons so I am selling all of the parts from this car. When I say everything, I mean everything, no part too small or too large and all in great condition. As I become more familiar to the site I will be adding parts but for now I am just going to list the car as a whole vehicle and anyone who needs anything please fell free to contact me.
If you haven't done so already you should add your car details to your signature to help others to help you.
