Default A big wave to all, miles from an ocean

Hi, fellow owners and enthusiasts from an ocean loving individual, can't wait for the covid-19 jab.
I currently own a 2013 XJL, a treat to myself upon retirement, hopefully it lasts me out. I'm a fan of the old curvy Jaguars though and still own a 2005 S type which is now my standby car. Love the shape and the (now I know more), easily serviceability of the car. Nothing like lifting off the manifold air intake just to replace the spark plugs, (that was the 2000 edition) or tweaking the anti roll bars and little tie roddy things. When I tossed my keys into the trunk and shut it, feeling the despair as the CAA man prized the front door a full 6 inches open and clicked the door release which activated the immobilizer and lock down, then finding that there is no way into the trunk, from the back seat , period. Then having to call my wife to leave work, go home get the spare key and drive 60km to me on site, what a silly Billy!
But they've given me so much enjoyment and as they say in that other car commercial, "when you turn on your car, does it return the favour?" A big yes.
From Ian Jansen in Calgary.
