Convertible Top Issue
My top won't go up electrically. I took it to the dealer and they have had it two days and all they know is that it has blown two fuses when they attempt to use the top up/down switch. From what I have read here at the forum it appears to be a bad solenoid. I'm sure they're going to recommend pump replacement. If so I'll do it myself (have it rebuilt) with ALL your shared help you have posted.
Thank you all.
Thank you all.

This may be a different conertable top iss but i have a 2005 XKR and with reading the forun was worried about failuer of the hoses and when I saw reference to Cabriolet Hydraulics of Bradenton Florida [ phone 941-756-1300] I said great becuse e go there in winter.
Well yesterday i took my car over to that company after talking to them. The owner Zig Paul came right out and inspected my hoses and announced that my hoses had been replaced by previous owner and were fine- great news and how about honesty!!
Therefore if any one needs hydraulic repair I highly recommend Cabriolet- he is a mechanical engineer and takes great pride in his work with hoses and pumps done and fixed right either right there or by shipping and fixing.

I sent the pump to Top Hydraulics Inc. and they determined the motor was drawing too many amps which caused the 40A fuse to blow. They also said the pump had lost 1/3 efficiency. The pump is on its way back to me with a 1 day turn around.
Yeah!
Yeah!
I installed the pump today and my convertible top is working normally. Thank you everyone for your input.
My next project is to install a rocker switch for the rear side windows.
