Hi all, just the obligatory post to introduce myself. Really quick, I have a 2003 Xtype Sport model 3.0L X400. I have done many repairs myself and notices that there is a broken fuse link in my Engine Compartment fuse box. The connector to one side of the fuse is gone, very strange I know. It is the fuse for the Throttle body motor. The interesting thing is that I notice no abnormal performance issues and do not understand what is affected by this fuse not being present. Can anyone shed some light on what this fuse actually does, and do I need it? Should I find a way to fix it? Is it important? I don't want to buy a fuse box for this issue if I don't need to. I think I can "fix" it by jamming some tinfoil in the spot where the broken connector should be and putting a fuse in, but that remains to be seen. Any ideas, thoughts, advice? Tyia.
