Default Don Penny - first visit since 2015

Hello,
I joined the forum a long time ago, but haven't been here in about 5 years. I joined when I bought my 2002 XK8 roadster, dark blue with a white interior. I have had to do very little to the Jag. I do most of my own work on my cars, even tho I am almost 75. I am just a little slower now. I changed out the water pump due to some overheating. It has worked fine ever since. I also replaced the left bank knock sensor. Now working on the low coolant sensor always on. Seems the donut is stuck on the sensor shaft. But all pretty simple. Now following an electrical problem - no power to the radio / display screen. Shouldn't be too difficult.

I also have a 1960 MGA that I bought in 1965.That started my fun with English cars. I will add pictures of the cars later.

I am now looking for a 1964-70 XKE roadster to buy very soon. If you know of one, please give me a shout. I live in Arlington, Texas, but am willing to travel almost anywhere if the E-type looks good.

Anyway, glad to be back, and looking forward to visiting with other owners.

Don

Welcome back Don.

Good to hear your XK8 has not required much work in the last five years.
