Welcome to the forums gedcorner,

Here's the relevant extract form the Owner's Handbook describing how it SHOULD work:

There's a long list or reasons for a temporary message display. If the ECO Start Stop Fault message is permanently displayed, you will need dealer level diagnostics to determine the cause.

Follow this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/xf-xfr-x250-44/ to the X250 forum for help, advice and information.

Please add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also uset the Europe Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/europe-42/ to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham

Hi all thanks for your comments, the fault rectified itself overnight, quite pleased and relieved.
