Uk based grumpy old welshman..... based in Oxford , UK , Just joined, bought a Jan 2004 53 Plate Xtype 2.5 v6 sport estate a couple of months ago...... generally been very pleased, but a few little niggles and a couple of worrys , not totally unexpected on a 99k mile motor bought for 2 grand....

Previously been a big vauxhall owner.... the last 7 cars , over the last 25 years, have all been 3.0/3.2 either straight 6 or V 6 so the Jag is the smallest engine, slowest car i've had for a LONG time

but it's great to drive, and very comfy...... and better on fuel than my most recent 3.2 Mv6 omega estate... and , frankly the jag as astoundingly pretty..... it looks so classy ...... (although i have to say, only true for the estate, sorry saloon owners, but the rear end of the x type saloon is horrid.....)
