First time Jag owner
Morning all,
So there is a Jaguar showroom close to where I work and after years of following very lucky individuals test driving F-Types (mostly soft-tops) I have managed to get my hands on one myself and loving every minute of it.
So I have gone for a 15 plate V6S coupe in white and black with lots of extras all in excellent condition, and it's a manual! Is that grumbling I hear from the masses?
The main thing for me about this car is that it puts a smile on my face every time I get into it. I used to have the same feeling with an 09 Z4 Coupe and regretted selling that and moving to a TTS which was a lovely car but not exciting enough. It just gripped and my driving actually got worse as I could drive a lot quicker around the country lanes where I live. I now have to be careful again and have already been able to experience the lively back end of the f-type a couple of times.
So like I do with each car I buy I join the relevant forum and the reasons for doing so tends to change over time. Initially just to get help with questions as I get used to the car but then hopefully to be able to answer some myself and get involved with any meetups in the Cambridgeshire area.
So hello to all on the forum and I hope we get to know each other better over the coming months.
Mike.

Hi Mike and welcome to the forum.
I bought my partner a few laps around Mallory last year in several supercars, one of which was the V6 F type rag top. She loved it!!! Apparently all of the pro drivers preferred the F type for its comfort and quality. It was the one they fought over.
Perhaps we could get together at Gaydon museum next year? They have a jaguar meet once a month.
