Ga Newby to the forum
Live in North Ga and have the 02 4.0 s type.
bought it from my father-in-law with 70,000 miles on it a couple of years ago. It was in good shape and had some transmission work done on it and the AC was charged up one time based on his memory. It's my wife's car and of course as soon as we got it things began like brakes, no big deal, wheel hub, no big deal, a couple of coil packs, no big deal. I can tell the valve cover gaskets and seals around the spark plugs will need to be replaced because of the oil burning smell from time to time, and there's a small coolant leak at the top front of the motor where are some hoses connect, no big deal. Now I have an AC issue and that's what brought me here. This is a great place for knowledge and advise. See you in the post

Welcome to the forum 2000jag,
Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.
I can see you've already found your way to the S-Type forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.
Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
You can also visit the US Lower Atlantic Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/u...r-atlantic-66/ to find other members in your region.
Enjoy the forums.

Welcome.
"No big deal" is another phrase for a sense of humour.
I agree with Elinor, you will go far in Jaguar land.

Have had a couple folks to say put up signature with vehicle details. I did this when joining and can see in ucp and the post or reply box a check mark in the show your signature box. Not sure if there's another setting for it. Is it not showing. 2002 s type 4.0 104k family owned
