Georgia, USA New Jag Owner
Good Morning from the US,
I have just purchased a Jaguar XJS with the intention of really giving this car the love it deserves here in the states. I am so thankful I have found this forum site as most all info on these cars is locked away or printed only. The absolute wealth of knowledge on here is astounding and I look forward to giving back to the community soon. The old man who owned the XJS previously was kind enough to set me up with many contacts for parts in the southeastern United States so I might be able to give back in that way at the least.
I personally am in my 20s and I have been buying, working on, and selling cars since I was 15 and made my money mowing lawns. Currently I am in college and my roommate and I are both hobbyist mechanics who have done a lot of work mostly on American, German, and Japanese cars so wrapping my head around the British Engineering has already been a journey and I am looking forward to the trip.
Thanks to all who have already posted about these cars because it has certainly put my mind at ease to have resources to pull from.

Welcome to the forums Jordan,
Good to have you with us.
I can see you've already found your way to the XJS forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues. You can also use the US Lower Atlantic Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/u...r-atlantic-66/ to find other members in your region.
Please read the guidance for new members ( https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/n...ned-up-241802/ ) which answers many of the most frequent questions about getting started.
Enjoy the forums.
Graham
