The "New Guy"
Hello all,
Not currently an owner. Yet, but definitely interested. Hope to learn as much about the brand as humanly possible, if anyone knows any good resources or info on the earlier to late model V12's and sixes that would be much appreciated. As well as Jaguar's racing heritage would be great.
I remember walking home from school as a kid and seeing a mid 70's xjs parked in someones driveway and thinking that it was a pretty sleek car.
I also used to go to a lot of car shows growing up, but lately I've grown tired of the same old LS swaps and muscle cars, and became more interested in british cars. Its something about Jaguar that fascinates me, there simple elegance is intriguing.
As for a little info about me:I live in Kansas and am currently going to school to be an automotive technician. My whole fathers side has a strong interest in cars as am I, definitely am curious into racing and anything performance related. I know british cars typically aren't necessarily performance focused, but it would be very interesting for me to see what a Jag' could really do, as there racing team has proven in the past in LeMans.
I look forward to seeing the comments and good advice.
Thanks,
Wortzman

Welcome to the forums.
The earliest examples of the current xj body are becoming very affordable now.
The supercharged will come close to 500 HP. While maintaining that luxury you expect from the company.
Enjoy the drive.

Welcome to the forum wortzman,
Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.
I can see you've already found your way to the XJS forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.
You can also visit the US Central Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/us-central-36/ to find other members in your region.
Enjoy the forums.

Welcome.
A properly sorted V12, as made, is a wonder to behold, BUT, finding one that is properly sorted is the task at hand.
Heaps of V12 info at the top of the XJS section.
