Hello boys and girls, I got my 2017 F type R in August of 2025 and I am having so much fun with it, as I am sure you all can imagine. I came out of a BMW 135i, which is a wonderful little machine, but after 11 years, I wanted a change. The F-type was on the short list. After about 6-8 months of seriously paying attention to what the market was doing around the Jaguars, a great deal came across one of my car search apps. From the time I saw the notification to the time I called the CarMax dealer, only about 4-5 hours later, in NC to transfer it to Nashville, it was reserved and scheduled to be shipped/sold in NJ. "Damn It!" A week later I got an email from Carmax informing me that the Jaguar I was looking at was back on the market. I did not hesitate this time. Two weeks later I was driving it home. Everyone here knows how beautiful these cars are, so I will keep the gushing to a minimum. I do look back at every time I park and just smile. I hope to meet up with some of you at some point. I have only seem two of these in Nashville. So it's fun to be in a "rare" car. I also want to thank everyone who has been so generous with their knowledge and insight about these cars. I have already gleaned some great info.
