I have just bought my first Jaguar, a 2004 cherry red manual diesel V6 2.7l S-type sport. It goes like a rocket and doesn't really burn any more fuel than my Rover 75 (yes, I like big cars) did, so I am extremely happy. The Jaguar is an old car, however, and has a few niggles, perhaps the most irritating of which is the inability to lock both back doors on the key fob. So it is now in the garage in bits and I decided to join this forum to ask for professional help (the real professionals always being the enthusiasts, of course)!

Looking forward to e-meeting some other Jaguar owners and discussing the ongoing repairs. I have a feeling that this problem with the central locking will turn out to be a common one..?

I can see you've already found your way to the S-Type technical forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
