Hello from Dixie
Bought a 1987 XJ6 VP a couple of years ago and struggled to get it running on my own. Finally got her reasonably dependable (rusty fuel tanks 
!!) and sold her over the winter. Have to have one to work on so we are negotiating with the owner of a 1995 XJ6. This time I don't want to learn the hard way so I'll be crying for help soon.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
