Default Hello from Durham

Hi, I am new to the forum, and was drawn to the site by Crimson Dynamo's very clear guide to repairing a jammed CD changer.

I've had my XJ8 3.6 since December, and I am delighted with it apart from a few small niggles. The CD changer repair guide has helped me attend to the first one. A piston seal for the compressor will sort the next one - I've had the kit for months but the weather has put me off. I previously did this fix on a Range Rover and I was happy that the unit was under the spare wheel and readily accessible. Oh well.

I am sure the answer to my recent intermittent parking sensor fault is on here somewhere too, so I am planning a busy Sunday attending to the last of the niggles.

Hopefully I will be able to contribute too, but for now it's a learning process so thanks in advance for the tips I'll be picking up.

Welcome to the forum Finn65,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

It sounds like you've already found your way to the X350 forum so there's no need for a link to it from me.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the UK & Eire Region forum by following this link UK & Eire - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum
to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham
