I am a lovely of the S-Type and I'm on my third in two years. I've worked up from a very very cheap one to a very slightly more expensive one and this is the one I want to keep and get working really well. She's done 140,000 miles and at the moment I have a number of issues (mostly restricted performance / knock sensor problems) that I would love to fix. I really don't want to have to get another one so I'm hoping to get some help and advice from you expert owners. I'd love to be able to take a wrench to her and do jobs myself but not having done mechanical stuff before (I'm a programmer by profession) I'm scared to get my hands dirty without someone helping! If any local buddies feel like social get-togethers I am up for that and hopefully as I learn more I can contribute to solutions rather than just asking questions. Thanks for having me!

Please add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
You can also use the UK & Eire Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/uk-eire-68/ to find other members in your region.
