Hello everyone, and Happy New Year!
I'm new to the forum (and forums in general), but I hope the information here will help me keep my beloved 2017 XE R-Sport on the road.
I'm originally from the UK. My teenage grandfather worked for Bill Lyons as a draftsman at Swallow Sidecar and contributed to the body design of the SS Jaguar before the company changed its name in 1945.
My first ride in a Jag was in a lemon yellow E-Type MkII, courtesy of my father's racing buddy, who drove everywhere as if he were at the track. That first ride in a big cat left an indelible mark (in my mind as well as my underpants), and years later, when I moved to LA from New York and found a nearly new XE with a supercharged V6, I didn't hesitate to become a Jaguar owner.
I've had some issues (I know I'm not alone in this), but I love my Jag. The XE is a stunningly handsome car and, just as importantly to me, a relatively rare sight on the road.
I trust that, with time, I'll be able to add and not just take information from this forum.
Any advice, thoughts, or questions are always welcome.
