Just purchased my first Jaguar, a XJ8. I never expected to own a Jaguar, I just stumbled across something different that I really liked. I had a Chrysler 300C with the 5.7 Hemi and really liked the power and ride. I traded it for a Ford Fusion hybrid due to the 50 mile commute I was making. My circumstances have changed again and I only commute 4 miles now. I decided I would start looking for another 300C. They seemed to be very popular as each of them was sold just before I could get to them. I though I would try a mustang at the local Jaguar dealer. It was sold before I got there as well. After talking with the Sales Lady, she directed me to a Jaguar S type. It had the V6 and I didn't like it so much. She them showed me the XJ8. After 1 drive I was hooked. Power, smooth ride and handles the curves. Great combination, I forgot about shopping for a Mustang, went home and did research on the XJ8. Found this site, couldn't find any reason to not buy it, so I went back and bought it.

I know long story but that's how I ended up in a XJ8. Never expected it, it just happened that way. Looking forward to learning more about this car and its capabilities.

So you test drove an XK8 and decided to buy the XJ8?

Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
