Hello to all.
Following all the great advices in this forum, i've bought my first Jaguar on april 2015.
It's a XJ350 V8 3.5l from 2004 in quartz color with a sand interior and around 170 kmiles on the odometer.
The options are GPS and rear audio console.
The price was 3500€ (4000$).
Such a good price included a transmission which forgot half the time she has more than a 3th speed and a suspension fault with a warning of "vehicule too low".
As i like to tinker with my toys, at this price i had not much to loose.
Since then i tried an oil change for the transmission. No such chance as i had to replace it by a second hand part from a car with 35 kmiles for 800€ with the differential and mesh grill. The mechanic asked 1200€ for the work with a change of pad and rotor (bought by me) on the rear axle.
I have changed one front strut and the air compressor myself.
I've replaced the front bumper to add the front aid parking option and have added the bluetooth and the rear electrical sunblind.
Finally i upgraded the front seat from 12 way to 16 way.
I can see you've already found your way to the X350 forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.
Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
If you haven't done so already you should add your car details to your signature to help others to help you.
