Good afternoon everyone. I am a proud owner of an 06 XK8 Cabrio. It’s a great and fun ride around Hollywood, Ca. The weather definitely doesn’t hurt. im looking forward to being a part of this forum and thank you for all the great advice found here.
Thank you for the welcome. Also, I’m already needing help. I have a leak on the fuel regulator located at the center of my fuel line that sits in the top side (driver’s) of the engine. Pictures attached. Might anyone know what it’s called and where to get it. Dealer was trying to sell me just the hose with no regulator. I’ve researched for hours and can’t find it. Thank you.
I can see you've already found your way to the XK8/XKR forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.

Thank you all for the warm welcome. Graham, I’ve updated my signature with your help. Also, I didn’t know how to add an arrow or circle around the part I needed. It’s not actually the dampner the arrow is pointing to (but thank you for the info so I know what to buy to replace that). The fuel leak is coming from the chrome circle piece right above the center of the arrow body. I can’t seem to locate one or even find the correct name for it. Any help would be appreciated.
I thought you were referring to the regulator (circled in yellow) but I noticed the residue where the damper mounting could be starting to break up when I saw your photo.
To add arrows etc to photos for posting on the forum, I use Windows Paint and add the required shape.
I was referring to the “regulator”. Thank you for putting a name to both that and the damper. Might you know where I can find a regulator? I’ve tried both the dealer (who wanted to sell me just the fuel line hose without regulator and a parts dealer recommended by this forum. Still no luck. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
Also, thank for marking up picture information, just did it!
Hello everyone. I found the part at Stevinson Auto in Colorado. The part no. is C2N2587. The guy was really helpful. I sent him a picture of the part and he compared it. $182 and I’ll get it in 3 business days. Thank everyone for all the helpful information.
