Hello from Italy!!
Hi guys,
nice to meet you in this Forum. I followed you for years in background and it was always a nice reading plenty of precious infos. So, for the tenth year of love between Eva and me I decided to join the Forum, and I'm very glad in doing it!!
Let me spend some word on Eva, she is a fashinating 2003 XK8 4.2 Ltr Coupé LHD; until today she travelled for 130.000 Km (so and so) and I gathered her when she was 84.000. Previously she was registrered from the official dealer to itself and, after, accompanied an elder lawyer. When she was five I adopted her and just changed the battery - in order to switch off the Christmas-tree on the dash - and the belts with pulley for safety. Short after me and a friend of mine restored the collapsed headlining and the A-post in my garage and - expensively - were changed at Jaguar's dealer the transmission's oil and the filter over than all the hoses and thermostat housing and water pump.
So we ride usually on sunny Sicily and middle Italy and, after ten year, every time I glance her, she like me as first day.

Last note for the ones asking themselves why she is called Eva: Lady Eva Kant was (and is) a character in a 70's comic book where the main character drove an XKE and the Cat was so named by the girlfriend I dated at the time I adopted her

Please add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
