Hi, I'm Schalde, which is my nickname. I live in Denmark, where we get robbed by the state when buying cars, but I'm going to get a dream car anyway.

I'm so new that I don't have a Jaguar yet ! My father has always been a fan, and I grew up to be one too. These elegant vehicles are just fantastic, but he hasn't been able to buy one yet.

I have mostly joined the forum to get a better idea of which exact model to buy and what to look for and know about when buying and maintaining.

I look to get a XJ for my father, around 1978-80 model, but 6 or 12 cylinders and so on are questions to get answered in here, I hope.
