Default Hello from Louisville!

Researching the latest claims by my repair shops and realize I keep running into this forum and am overdue to join! I just replaced the engine in my 77K XK8 with a 31K used engine plus the tensioners, waterpump, hoses, radiator, etc.(!!!!) Now I am getting a code on the MAF sensor and find myself here again! Actually my Jag has been relatively trouble free up until the BIG One and my crack dealer in Michigan ( I recently moved to Louisville) obviously never mentioned the tensioner problem.... Actually "crack" dealer is more than a pun as it is Metro Detroit... Anyways - thanks all for such a great site I wish I had found it years ago!

Welcome to the site. As you can see, I am also from Louisville. You can get a lot of help from guys and gals on this site. Most seem to know what they are talking about. Either that or the were in the navy with me and the learned how to lie. Good Luck/
Terry

Thank you very much for the access! I can appreciate you need to stop the spam stuff but it is frustrating for newbies... Love the site!

Welcome to the forum,

At least you have found the site now so it's all good, I hope you get the wrinkles straightened out soon and the car behaves as it should.

Welcome to the forum thenaz007. This is a great site with plenty of good information to be had for the asking. No offense to Nalley Jaguar (one of forum sponsers), but Ben at Jaguar Louisville seems to have pricing as good as Nalley, and is very understanding when you walk in asking "stupid" questions as I do from time to time. I'm right across the river in Corydon, Indiana. Enjoy your ride and time here on the forum.

Default Thanks again!

Thanks again guys - you have already saved me $800 in the first week. Local car repair chain said I needed a MAF sensor ($801) and research on the site located the culprit as a dirty air cleaner...!
