Default Hello from Maine

My name is Ethan and my wife just purchased a 2004 Jaguar XJR from an online dealer. It's been quite an experience with many ups and downs. That said, the car seems to be in mostly good condition after a few repairs (bad tie road, two bent rims and dry rotted tires) but being 20 years old it has a few issues. I'm not a car guy, but am fairly handy and can follow instructions to fix things (for example I fixed the electric steering motor "clunk" on my 2012 Hyundai, which involved dropping the steering column and cracking the motor to replace a vinyl gear buffer.)

Hopefully you folks can identify these things and let me know! So what I see so far are a couple disconnected items that I have no clue about and no obvious hookups are nearby that I could detect initially. I wondered if anyone knew what these were, they were both on the passenger side under the hood. The pics show an overview of the locations and specify connector 1 an electrical connector and connector 2 an air or fluid connector. Any help identifying these is greatly appreciated.

Hello, Ethan,
Congratulations to your wife on her new Jaguar, and to you for fixing that Hyundai starter!!
Someone over in the X350 section will know for sure what these connections belong to.
I wish you and your wife success. I'm thinking you're on the right track already.

Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.
