Default Hello from Mississippi -

Hello Forum,

Not having learned a darn thing from owning British cars most of my life, I stubbornly hold onto the few gleeful moments they provide!

All around mechanic in my youth British infatuation started with the TR3/TR4/TR8

Currently in a love hate relationship with my XK8!

Native So Cal, recent transplant to Mississippi... Other rabid interests include all things sailing...

Thanks!

Hi HappySailor, what do you sail?

I hope my XJ8 will ease me into owning a British designed boat one day.

Sam.

WOW!

Thanks for the welcome everybody! I was a bit overwhelmed, but I recall now that I am the first guy to welcome others on some other forums... Sorry for the slow reply here... Not used to a "welcome thread"... My bad...

As requested... I've fixed some of the personal items... cars/av/signature... Mostly stolen from the sailing forum...

The driving force to join was a new post here...

Thanks for the tips Graham! Yes... The TR's are a labor love and frustration... The only one left is the TR8 that my brother and I sell back and forth about every 5 years... Recent resto plus dropping a 4.2 in...

Sam,

The 3 boats listed in the new signature, plus any time I find an excuse to jump on a new one! The British make some fine boats... Top end being Oyster... If you think owning British car is painful on the wallet... You might want to sit down... No way am I going to afford one of these in a hundred lifetimes... Oyster Yachts | Luxury Yacht Builder | Brokerage | Yachts for Sale | Charter | World Rally ...
