Hello new Jag owner
Hi, I live in Mt. Elgin Ontario, farm country ins South Western Ontario, Canada.
I just picked up a new to me 2007 Ice Blue XKR with 90,000 kms on the clock. The car was traded in at a Chrysler dealer for a Fiat by a retired school teacher. It is in very good condition. I have only driven it once to the store and back, but plan to take my wife for a scenic fall drive today.
This is my second Jaguar. Believe it or not, in 1998, I bought a 1968 XKE 2 + 2 that was, wait for it.....traded in to a Chrysler dealer for a Minivan! I see a pattern emerging here. But wait it gets better, I sold my 1980 Porsche 911 SC yesterday to make room for the Jag, I also bought the 911 from a Chrysler dealer that was traded in for a Jeep. These were three separate dealers located 100's of kms apart.
I am very pleased so far with the presentation of the Jaguar, it needs a few little things which I will complete, such as the rear center valance not being attached to the support.
The car is stunning in the Ice blue color and suits us perfectly as it will show less dust. We live on a dirt road, 1km from the pavement.
I plan to use the car on nice days to get to work and also for longer road trips. We are heading to Chicago this Friday for a conference and are really looking forward to the drive.
Thanks for this forum, I hope I do not have to ask technical questions, but should the need arise I know where to go.
Cheers,
Jon

Hello, Jon,
I perceive you have found your preferred hunting ground; any Chrysler dealership. Neat cars are where you find them!
