Hi, I am Jörg. Here goes my short intro.
I had been looking at this wonderful cat on the dealers web-page for weeks. Looked absolute gorgeous.
Last weekend I took a 5 hours drive to have a proper look. I was in awe. The cat looked fantastic, even better than on the pics. After a short test drive I decided to buy straight away. The xk8 convertible, MY05, 58k miles is my first jag.
The dealer drives a xk8 himself and the car looked overall in a very good condition. It will get new MOT, tyres and some cosmetics done before I will pick her up end of Nov.
In the mean time I have to read, read, read and study as much about the car as possible. This seems to be the place to do this. Looking forward to learn from you forum experts. Tx.
End of November - that's a long time to wait. It does look georgous. I wonder what cosmetic work needs to be done.
It sounds like you have already found the relevant model forum but if not, follow this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/xk8-xkr-x100-17/ to the XK8/XKR forum for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.
Please add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
If you haven't done so already you should add your car details to your signature to help others to help you.
