Hi,
I have recently bought my first Jaguar. It's an XJ40 from 1992. Car has been standing since 2010 and there is a number of issues to be sorted out before it will be back on the road again.
My plan is to have it ready to next summer and it will be used only as a summer and nice weather car.

I can see you've already found your way to the XJ40 forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.
I've added vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. If you want to change these, go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
You can also use the Europe Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/europe-42/ to find other members in your region.

Congratulations on your new Jaguar!
10 years is a Long time for a car to sit unused. They sort of forget how to run properly during that time. But you'll have a Lot of fun getting everything right and proper again.
