Hi All from Adelaide, South Australia.

I have had my 1985 JaguarXJ6 Series3 for about 10 months. It didn't run too well when I got it and spent quite a bit of time not going at all. I eventually sorted out the fuel supply and ignition problems and now have a reasonably reliable car. This is my second Jag but as the first (which was a 81 S3) was a daily driver, I didn't spent a lot of time working on it, just a lot of money servicing and keeping it on the road, That was a quite reliable car as well. Had to sell that one when the family started to come along. Anyhow I am going the spent a lot of time and probably a bit of cash on restoring' the 85 back to something a bit better than it is at the moment, not competition standard but a car that will be fun to drive.
I look forward to keeping up with other posters and sharing what little knowledge I have gained in the past few months,

I can see you've already found your way to the XJ6 & XJ12 Series I, II & III forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.

Please add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
