Hi from Edmonton
Hi, not my first post but happy to be here. My first Jaguar, a 2004 XK8. When I bought it about 4 weeks ago it had 36,400 km on it. Now we’re at 38,700 and the enjoyment grows. Took it on an 1100 km shake down cruise to Longview and then Highway 40 north through the Highwood Pass. Past Banff and Lake Louise up 93 to the David Thompson Highway and then home. A joy to drive.

Hello, Craig,
Congratulations on your new Jaguar!
I highly approve of your "shakedown" trip (like that should matter). Nothing like mountain roads and beautiful scenery to cement the bond between Jag and Owner.
Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.

Welcome to the forums Craig,
Good to have you with us. I had a look on Google Earth for your route. That's just what XK8's were made for.
I know you've already found your way to the XK8/XKR forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.
Enjoy the forums.
Graham
