Default Hi Everyone!

Hi all!
I have just become the owner of a 1995 XJ6 with 45,000 mi, thanks to the encouragement of many kind folks on this forum!

The car belonged originally to my grandmother, and when she and my grandfather passed away my parents got it. After 7 years of not driving it very much, they wanted to sell it and asked me to help. I drove it once and fell in love and adopted it myself instead.

I just drove it 500 miles to its new home and it was a joy to to have her out on her first highway trip in many years. I did get a check engine light along the way so I'm back here to ask for help in the x300 forums.

Thanks for being available and making it possible for someone like me to own this amazing car!

Christine

Hello, Christine,
Congratulations on your new Jaguar!
Jaguars like to run, they don't sit unused very well. It's good you have adopted this one, keeping another specimen on the road.

Welcome to the forums (officially) from ElinorB.

Welcome to the forum Christine,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

I can see you've already found your way to the X300 forum so there's no need for a link to it from me.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the US Lower Atlantic Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/u...r-atlantic-66/
to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham
