Hi from Switzerland
Hi all
Warm welcome to everyone in this forum!
I'm driving a Jag XKR from 2004. I always wanted it, last year I made my dream come true
In general you can say it's a pretty nice car. BUT it's an English car which means many many problems with things you haven't heard about before :-) I call it my personal project. My target is to fix and restore it to it's original condition.
So, I already posted my first problems and many others will come too for sure. I hope that sometime I can help others too! I keep everyone up to date and post my solutions.

Hello,
That's what this site is all about; new owners find help, learn about their car, and in time they can help others, because they've had their hands on that very same troublesome object. And so it goes, round and round.
Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.
The only problem I had with my English car in Switzerland was the border guards who rejected my motorway vignette because it was too high on the windscreen.
I know you've already found your way to the XK8/XKR forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.
Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
You can also visit the Europe Region forum by following this link Europe - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to find other members in your region.
Enjoy the forums.
