Hi from Wellington New Zealand!
Hi folks!
Ok so at the age of 45 I’ve managed to pop a couple of cherries... Number one, and most important, is I’ve bought my first Jaguar! It’s an 08 XF SV8 which, like me, has managed to make its way from its original home in the UK to the opposite side of the planet down here in NZ. Secondly I’ve never been part of any forum before & this is my first.
I’m totally loving the car, comfort, power, sound are all superb, although it’s already had a few problems. It’s been to the dealer to have various air leaks, supercharger belt, CEL coming on etc etc fixed (so far $5000+ in work) and just yesterday the CEL came on again..... I’m hoping it’s nothing major although I think it could be a problem with one of the cats. However despite the problems so far I’m loving it & looking forward to some prolonged trouble free motoring with it soon.
Looking forward to meeting some new people & getting advice from those with considerably more knowledge than I have about Jaguars!
