Howdy
Hello everybody,
I finally joined the forum after having browsed it for several month with great interest!
I live in France and I have a 1962 Jaguar mkii which is undergoing a pretty significant restomod: The mecanical highlights are:
- 3.8L engine, done-up very nicely with electronic mapped fuel injection and mapped ignition, a rear seal conversion, fast road cams, forged pistons, electric water pump etc...
- 5 speed tremec gearbox with a Tilton axial clutch release bearing
- custom radiator and electric fan
- Dual master cylinder on Tilton pedalbox with big vented Wilwood brakes up front
- rebuild suspension, steering rack conversion with electric powersteering and Borrani wire wheels ...
... and if I manage an XJ40 based independent rear suspension and a Rotax supercharger!
On the body side, I have installed a metal, electric sunroof and I would like to delete the bumpers front and back and build a nice spoiler to continue the bodyline under the bumper where it currently stops.
I have already followed some threads for modified MkII and I am very admiratif of what members have already confronted and accomplished.
Thanks for having me, Cornelius

Welcome to the forum Cornelius,
Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.
That specification should keep you in the lead around the Périphérique.
As you have already followed threads in the MKI/MKII forum. there's no need for a link to it from me. It would be interesting to see a new thread there from you with photos of your MKII.
Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
