Hi, My name is Michael Doerr, I live in Monticello, Il. I have a 2001 XK8 convertible, with 62K miles. it is mint green ( I don't remember the official Jaguar name) with a cream interior, and it is just beautiful. I am frequently stopped by friends and strangers at the grocery store parking lot and asked what kind of car it is or to tell me how beautiful it is.
I put the top down in May and don't put it up till October, unless it is absolutely necessary. I enjoy the forum and come to it frequently.

It sounds like yo don't need a link to the XK8/XKR tech forum. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

Hello, Michael,
I had a convertible once, roadster actually, never put the top on. I sold it when I moved out here in the stix as I couldn't stand to see it torn up on these roads and didn't want to watch it rot in the shed.
