Intro
Hello,
I have been involved in the engine remanufacturing business for the last 15 years and in the automotive industry since 1963. I retired from my job last month ( we'll see what happens with that).
I bought my first Jaguar a 1997 XJ6 with 126000 miles instead of buying a new car. I needed something comfortable for trips and a good handling high performance car is a must. I've been driving a supercharged Jeep Wrangler as a daily driver for several years, I used it to do R&D on engine modifications it's fun but not for long distance.
I have been driving the XJ6 since January and am extremely pleased with it, it has a rock solid engine and a great handling Sedan.
The Vanden Plas I bought because I couldn't not buy it for the price.
