Default Intro from Algoa Dave

I'm the recent owner of a Silver 2001 Jaguar XKR convertible. It resides southwest of Houston; near Alvin if you know the area.
I purchased it at an auction and have found some items that I could use some member assistance in finding. In order they are: a second key, an engine oil cooler and a passenger seat module.

Are there any Jaguar or British car organizations in the Houston that meet regularly?
Are there any caveats you would offer about my car (it has 90,000 miles)?

I haven't looked into this forum in depth and will l likely find the answers to some of my inquiries when I do.

Thanks to all in advance,

Algoa Dave

A very warm welcome Dave. I am sure you will find the answers somewhere hereabouts.

Post up some pics when you chance, in the meantime, enjoy the car and the forum.

Default Welcome to Jaguar Forums

Welcome Algoa Dave ... and greetings from fellow enthusiasts in Australia.

The XKR is a great drive and you will find plenty of resources, advice and shared friendship here ... from the forum's main menu, jump over to the model specific XK8/XKR section where there is plenty to read and absorb.

I also encourage you to visit the regional section shared by other members in your area ... local and regional events are second only to the advice from fellow members of recommended service providers in your area.

Finally, if you haven't done so, please add your car details to your signature as a permanent flag to enable other members to offer accurate advice ... from Main Menu, click <User CP> then <Edit Signature>.

All that remains is to dive into the forum ... and enjoy!

Best wishes,
Ken
