Intro Post for 1st Time Owner of 2004 Jaguar XJ8 (X350)
Greetings Fellow Jaguar Owners (cool to say that),
I bought my 1st Jaguar in October 2021 - a mint condition 2004 Jaguar XJ8 (X350) with 114,000 miles on it. I love it! I live in rural Missouri, USA, not far from Rolla and Fort Leonard Wood (US Army) where I work as an Engineer. I joined a Facebook Jaguar Owner's Group, and have enjoyed seeing more beautiful Jaguars on it, along with the stories of the new owners. I joined this Forum to research the only problem I've found so far on my new car.
So far as I know, there is only one thing wrong with my Jag, and even it didn't show itself until the first sub-freezing day of winter - an Air Suspension Fault - Vehicle Too Low error that first appeared as Yellow, but then went to Red. (I've already searched and read many of the threads in the appropriate Forum, and personally believe I just need to replace the desiccant in the dryer, which I saw might still be available in a "per use" quantity from a fellow forum member - but I'm still digging through all the threads on the problem before posting a new thread (as per the rules). BTW, I haven't yet found a thread that shows the replacement process for the desiccant, so if someone could point me in the right direction, you might save me some additional searching).
I'm happy to be a member of this Forum, and am particularly impressed by high level of expertise evident in the threads I've read so far.

P.S. I couldn't figure out how to make the pix smaller size. Sorry about that. Beautiful! Looks awesome from the front. Clean interior.

Welcome to the forums Michael,
Good to have you with us. I've reduced the scale of your first image and added it as your SigPic. You will have to use photo editing software to do this.
Hello again, Michael,
Didn't I just see you over in Off Topic?
Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.

Thanks ElinorB! Yes, you did indeed see me over in the Off Topic section. I was just trying to follow the Third step of the "New Member Area - Intro a MUST" guide, which encourages new members to also add some pictures in the mug shot area of Off Topic. I didn't mean to be redundant. :-)

Follow this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...-x350-x358-28/ to the X350 forum for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues. You can also use the US Midwest Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/us-midwest-39/ to find other members in your region.
Please read the guidance for new members ( https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/n...ned-up-241802/ ) which answers many of the most frequent questions about getting started.

Thanks Graham! I really appreciate your reply, welcome, and guidance. Thanks for fixing the photo size and adding it to my Signature (I had previously done the best I could at this, but my efforts made the picture grainy - yours looks great). I've actually already spent a fair bit of time searching the first link you mentioned (and will do much more in the coming days), but I hadn't yet discovered the regional site. Much appreciated. I've studied both the guidance for new members and the Forum Rules. Lots of useful info. Wilco of course.
Welcome to Jaguar Forums Michael, Good to have you with us. Enjoy the forum.
