Introduction
I have recently sold my business and now am considered retired. I have always been active and plan to remain so. I enjoy flying and maintain my own small plane, so am well acquainted with wenching and have a good supply of tools. My son is an automobile dealer and took a 2000 Jaguar VDP as a trade in 10 years ago. He doesn't deal in foreign cars, so it sat abandoned until now. It seemed like a fun project so I now own it. It has issues that I need to work through, but it does run. I am not an automobile mechanic as they are far more complicated than aircraft systems, so I will need to learn about this vehicle. I may become a Jag enthusiast depending on how this restoration goes. I will need help and probable will have many questions. I am looking forward to learning from this knowledgeable group.
